Disney's Monstropolis Restrooms Get a Fresh Coat of Paint

Crews at Disney's Hollywood Studios are busy dismantling scaffolding from the Monstropolis restrooms, a key component of the upcoming Monsters, Inc. land.

The area was previously known as Muppets Courtyard and featured Gonzo's Royal Flush building, but it has since been transformed with monstrous details.

Although the scaffolding framework remains in place, platforms and scrims have been removed, allowing for a clearer view of the restrooms' design. In contrast to previous photos, the area now sports some golden brown paint on riveted details near the corner and between fake windows.

The Monstropolis Restrooms are attached to the former PizzeRizzo building, which is soon to become Archie's Scare Pig Pizza. The new land will open in phases starting next year, with ongoing construction updates available through WDW News Today.
