Disney's New Cruise Ship Believes in Themed Fun
A Disney cruise ship under construction is taking shape for its 2027 launch. The new vessel, named Disney Believe, will feature a Moana-inspired Grand Hall among other themed areas. The latest update from Disney Cruise Line shows that the first of three large sections of the ship has been completed and floated out at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.
The Grand Hall is one of several onboard venues and entertainment options inspired by beloved Disney stories, including Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid. The hall will feature a bronze statue of the characters Moana, Pua, and Heihei. Woody and Buzz Lightyear are set to be immortalized in stern sculptures, while Tinker Bell will appear in the bow design.
The Disney Believe is expected to sail late in 2027, but specific details such as booking-opening dates, itineraries, and prices have not been announced yet. This means that travelers should hold off on planning their trips until more information becomes available.
