Disney's Pricey Problem: A Day at the Park Costs a Small Fortune
Disney theme park prices continue to rise, with recent hikes pushing one-day admission above $200 during peak periods. In October 2025, Walt Disney World in Orlando and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim both introduced new pricing.
The new prices are: a one-day, single-park ticket costs $209 at Disney World (up 5 percent) and $224 at Disneyland (up 8.7 percent), while the five-day Park Hopper option jumped $39 to $655. Annual passes also climbed, with Disneyland's top-tier Inspire Key now $1,899, a $150 increase.
Parking fees rose from $30 to $35 and Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices went up 6.25 percent to $34. A day out at the park for a family of four can easily exceed $1,000 once you factor in parking and snacks.
The author recently took their family on a trip to Japan, where they visited Disney Sea, the only park of its kind in the world. They paid about $60 per adult and $35 per child for theme park admission, totaling around $190.
