Disney's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Ditches Live Cast Member for Prerecorded Message

The popular Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios has made a change to its pre-show safety instructions. Instead of a live cast member, the announcements are now prerecorded messages. This follows a trend in recent years where Disney is replacing live cast members with voiceovers or Audio-Animatronics figures.

The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster ride has undergone changes since it debuted earlier this year as a permanent replacement for the Aerosmith version. The pre-show room, which previously featured a live cast member instructing riders to move into the room and fill in available space, now features a recording of the same message.

This change is likely not related to any job losses, as the live cast member was responsible for other tasks such as asking guests how many people were in their party. Disney has made similar changes at other attractions, including Zootopia: Better Zoogether! and Country Bear Musical Jamboree.
