Four years ago, Disney stopped working with Russian dubbing studios and began searching for new contractors to produce Russian-language versions of its films. The company eventually signed a contract with Almaty-based studio MovieDalen.

The studio produces high-quality dubs by ensuring that the lip movements on screen match the actors' mouth movements in real-time. This is particularly challenging when dealing with languages like Russian, which are flexible in terms of word order.

Tatyana Kostyuchenko and Ivan Savoskin are two voice actors who collaborate with MovieDalen. Both have experience dubbing films, but it is not their primary occupation. They face unique challenges in their work, including short lines that can be difficult to record correctly.
