At Walt Disney World's EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, some guests were caught off guard by a strict identification policy. The festival, which began on August 27 and runs through November 21, has seen visitors denied alcohol purchases when they failed to present valid ID.

The policy requires all guests purchasing alcohol or entering age-restricted venues to provide an approved form of identification, such as a driver's license or passport, proving they are at least 21 years old. However, some guests reported being carded for appearing under 30, not the standard drinking age.

A Reddit user shared their experience, stating that Disney staff were trained to card anyone who looked under 30, leading to frustration among some visitors.
