Disney's Tower of Terror Undergoes Major Refurbishment Amid Ongoing Construction

Walt Disney World's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is currently undergoing refurbishment work, which has been ongoing since earlier this year. The project has grown more extensive in recent weeks, with scaffolding now covering a significant portion of the iconic attraction's facade.

The construction work began to creep up towards the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign, with the scaffolding wrapping around windows and decorative tiling on one side of the building. On the other side, crews are working on applying fresh paint, which currently stands out due to its clean appearance amidst the intentionally weathered exterior of the haunted drop ride.

Disney has not commented publicly on the construction project, likely because the attraction inside the Hollywood Tower Hotel remains operational despite the visible work outside. The refurbishment is expected to be completed without disrupting guests' experience at the park.
