Disney's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Gets Major Facelift
Walt Disney World Resort has been working on a major refurbishment of its Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The project, which began in March, involves repainting the exterior of the building to recreate its weathered and haunted aesthetic.
The renovation started with updates to the outdoor queue before moving on to the facade of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Crews have been working steadily to cover the entire structure with scaffolding, gradually revealing fresh pink paint with intentional cracks and signs of wear.
Despite extensive construction, the attraction has remained fully operational throughout the process. Guests can already see the effects of the renovation as they walk by the building, with small sections of scaffolding being removed to reveal the newly painted areas.
