The Dow-30 and S&P 500 pulled back from recent record highs on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling 464.02 points (0.9%) to a 53,885.10 close. This decline snapped a five-session winning streak for the index.

The Federal Aviation Administration has ordered inspections of hundreds of Boeing 737 MAX jets over possible cracks. Meanwhile, the FAA approved the 737 MAX 7 after years of delays, allowing deliveries to begin and moving attention toward the MAX 10 pipeline. Boeing finished at $233.49, up 8.03%, after trading from $219.21 to $234.09.
