NASCAR driver Carson Kvapil secured his second consecutive victory in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, winning the HyVee Perks 250 at Iowa Speedway. This win comes after his first career series victory two weeks ago in Indianapolis, where he took the lead on a restart and finished ahead of Rajah Caruth and William Sawalich.

Kvapil spoke about the significance of this repeat performance, saying 'That's a big one, just to be able to go back to back and not be a one-win wonder.' He emphasized his determination to take the lead from the front row in the final restart against Ross Chastain, stating 'My mind was made up that I was not going to restart behind him.'

This victory solidifies Kvapil's position in the season standings, with several weeks remaining before the championship chase. The O'Reilly Series will take a hiatus before returning to Daytona for the Winn-Dixie 250 Powered by Coca-Cola on August 28th.
