Dow Dives as Oil Prices Soar Past $100
The Dow Jones index closed lower by around 405 points to 52,380.66 on Wednesday as oil prices surged and the 10-year Treasury yield climbed to a three-year high.
Brent crude pushed above $100 a barrel for the first time since July, contributing to the decline in stocks.
The CNN Money Fear and Greed Index showed no change in overall market sentiment, remaining in the 'Fear' zone with a reading of 38.9.
