Dow Falls by 339 Points Amid Mixed Performance of Top Stocks
The Dow Jones Index closed lower on Wednesday, declining by 0.66 percent to reach 51,011 points. This represents a fall of 339 points from its previous close.
Among the leading losers were Walmart, which dropped 2.59 percent, followed closely by 3M and Merck, both down by 2.56 percent and 2.36 percent respectively.
On the other hand, top gainers included Salesforce, which rose 1.89 percent, Apple, up 1.31 percent, and Amazon, increasing by 1.24 percent.
