Software giant Microsoft and AI leader Palantir are the latest entries to be added to the Dow Jones index.
The addition of these two companies brings the total number of components in the Dow Jones to 30, replacing ExxonMobil and Chevron.
The changes take effect at the opening of trading on June 8, 2023.
