Dow Jones Stocks Showcased for Long-Term Growth
The Dow Jones (^DJI) is home to some of America's biggest corporate names, but only a handful are still growing at a strong pace.
Among these blue-chip stocks, a few stand out by adapting to change and driving shareholder value. Three such stocks are Amazon (AMZN), Nvidia (NVDA), and Amgen (AMGN).
Amazon, founded by Jeff Bezos after he quit his job at D.E. Shaw, is the world's largest online retailer and provider of cloud computing services. Its impressive revenue growth has been driven not only by its e-commerce business but also by its highly profitable AWS segment.
Nvidia, a leading fabless designer of chips used in gaming, PCs, data centers, automotive, and other end markets, saw annual revenue growth of 77.4% over the past two years, reflecting market share gains this cycle. Its robust free cash flow margin of 42.5% gives it many options for capital deployment.
Amgen, a biotechnology company that discovers, develops, and manufactures innovative medicines to treat serious illnesses like cancer, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases, has a revenue base of $38.1 billion, giving it economies of scale and some negotiating power.
