Dow Plummets to Worst Week in Six Months Amid Rising Yields and Energy Costs

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted to its worst week in six months due to rising inflation concerns and elevated yields.

Treasury 10-year yields settled above 5% for the first time since July 2007, while U.S. crude hovered above $100 a barrel.

The Dow fell 1.7%, marking its third consecutive weekly decline and its steepest drop since March.
