Dow Tumbles to 3-Month Low as Healthcare Stocks Drag Down Markets

U.S. stock markets were mixed at close of trade on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling to a new 3-month low.

The Dow declined by 0.86%, while the S&P 500 index lost 0.25% and the NASDAQ Composite gained 0.24%.

The biggest gainers on the Dow were Salesforce Inc., Apple Inc., and Amazon.com Inc., which rose 1.89%, 1.10%, and 1.01%, respectively.

However, Walmart Inc., Merck & Company Inc., and 3M Company were among the worst performers, declining by 2.70%, 2.66%, and 2.58%.
