Druckenmiller Dumps Semiconductors, Bets Big on Amazon and AMD

Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office made significant changes to its portfolio in Q2, increasing exposure to Amazon and Advanced Micro Devices while cutting ties with several major semiconductor names.

The firm more than doubled its stake in Amazon, buying 541,600 shares and boosting call options by over 1,000%. Druckenmiller also initiated a position in Alphabet's Class A stock and added call options on Meta Platforms and Tesla.

However, Duquesne completely exited Broadcom, Intel, and Micron, while opening a new position in AMD with 72,900 shares. The family office also increased its stake in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.
