Dubai Basketball Set for Blockbuster EuroLeague Debut Against Spanish Giants

Dubai Basketball is set to make its EuroLeague debut in September, and what a start it will be. The team's opening two home fixtures against Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona promise to be blockbuster events.

The ABA League champions kick off their EuroLeague campaign next month with a bang, welcoming Real Madrid to the Coca-Cola Arena on Thursday 24 September. This will be followed by a match against Barcelona just five days later on Tuesday 29 September.

Dubai Basketball has shown its mettle in previous encounters with these top European teams. Last season, they claimed a memorable 93-85 victory over Real Madrid at Coca-Cola Arena after overturning a 14-point deficit. They also took down Barcelona 83-78 in their first-ever meeting.

New head coach Xavi Pascual will be looking to lead his team to victories against his former club, Barcelona. Pascual enjoyed immense success with the Catalan giants during two spells as head coach and will be hoping to mastermind victory against them once again.
