Dubai Police Warns of Fake Global Village Packages Scams Ahead of Season 31 Sale
Dubai Police has issued a warning to residents about fake accounts on websites and social media platforms promoting Global Village's VIP packages at 'tempting' prices.
The scammers aim to defraud buyers and steal their money and personal data, taking advantage of the excitement around the new season packages.
Dubai Police confirmed that this is an annual scam pattern, with scammers replicating official accounts and web pages to trick people into completing fake purchases or handing over personal data.
The warning comes as Global Village rolls out its Season 31 VIP packages in phases, exclusively through the official Coca-Cola Arena website. The pre-purchase phase runs from September 21 to 25, allowing guests to lock in packages for an additional fee before public sales open on September 26.
