Dylan Sprouse Calls Childhood Acting Career 'Child Labor'

Disney Channel alum and actor Dylan Sprouse recently spoke about his childhood acting career on the Wildmen podcast. He compared it to 'child labor' and criticized the long hours he worked as a child star.

Dylan started acting in 2005 with his twin brother Cole on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He said working on TV was like having a full-time office job, with set hours similar to those of a typical 9-to-5 job. When the production wrapped, he felt a 'void' and his self-esteem became tied to his ability to continue working.

He admitted that he is still dealing with some of the negative experiences from his child acting days. Dylan also expressed interest in talking to actor Mark Indelicato about how they both overcame their challenges in the entertainment industry.
