E Fund Invests Heavily in Amazon Amid E-Commerce Boom
E Fund Management Co. Ltd. has acquired a new position in Amazon.com, Inc. shares during the second quarter, according to its latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The fund bought 277,655 shares of the e-commerce giant's stock, valued at approximately $66,176,000, making it Amazon.com's 17th largest holding in E Fund Management Co. Ltd.'s portfolio, which accounts for 1.5% of its investment.
This is not an isolated instance of institutional investors and hedge funds modifying their holdings of AMZN, as several other firms have made significant adjustments to their stakes in the company in recent quarters.
