Echo Lake Gets a Refresh at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Crews at Disney's Hollywood Studios have been busy refreshing one of the park's lesser-known attractions. Echo Lake, which is home to a variety of iconic Disney landmarks, recently underwent a refurbishment that included repainting several props and restoring the Dockside Diner.
As part of this project, two of the lake's fake tree stumps were given a fresh coat of dark brown paint. The stumps are an integral part of Echo Lake's scenery, helping to conceal some of the lake's underwater plumbing from view.
A comparison between the newly painted stump and one that still awaits repainting shows just how faded the old paint had become. The repainted stumps blend in much more seamlessly with their surroundings, adding a touch of authenticity to the area.
