Egypt Signs Deal with Cisco for International Trainer Training

Egypt has signed a deal with global technology company Cisco Systems to train 3,000 internationally certified trainers under the Cisco Networking Academy programme.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) Director Ahmed Khattab and Country Leader for Cisco Egypt Mohamed Kamel in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Raafat Hindi.

Under the agreement, 3,000 people will be trained over three years to work as certified trainers in Egypt and abroad in fields such as data networking, information and network security, operating systems, and artificial intelligence.

The programme aims to build a specialized pool of trainers capable of transferring knowledge and developing digital skills in line with international standards, particularly targeting university professors, faculty members, and independent lecturers.
