Elmo Bolsters AI Push with Acquisition of Solu Digital

Finland-based ICT services company Elmo has acquired Solu Digital, a Helsinki-based provider of information management solutions built on Microsoft technologies. The deal, announced on September 28, 2026, brings Solu Digital fully into Elmo's fold.

Solu Digital was founded in 2011 and offers solutions to more than 300 customers using tools like SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, and Microsoft Fabric. The company's products include Solu 365, which automates the creation and management of Teams groups and tightens information security.

The acquisition is part of Elmo's push to provide AI and digital-work solutions plus a secure technical foundation from a single partner. 'AI is no longer a separate technology project; it is becoming part of almost all work and business,' said Elmo CEO Janne Aaltonen. 'We want to help our customers move from AI talk to concrete, secure solutions that deliver measurable value.'

The deal reflects a wider Nordic push to consolidate ICT, cybersecurity, and AI capabilities under one roof, positioning combined firms to sell full-stack digital transformation rather than point solutions.
