Energy Leaders Shine at D CEO's Ninth Annual Awards
The Energy Awards 2026, hosted by D CEO, took place on October 29 at On The Levee in Dallas. This was the ninth annual event celebrating leaders in traditional oil and gas as well as energy tech pioneers.
The evening included a fireside chat with Legacy Award winner Jim Burke, president and CEO of Vistra Corp., moderated by D CEO Editor Christine Perez.
Other honorees recognized at the awards include Energy Transfer, led by Tom Long and Mackie McCrea, who won Energy Company of the Year. Caterpillar was awarded Powering the Digital Economy, while Empower EIT took home Innovation in Energy Technology.
The event also recognized Oncor as Power and Infrastructure Deal of the Year, Matador Resources for Dealmaker of the Year, and Aethon Sale to Mitsubishi as Oil and Gas Deal of the Year. Texas Pacific Land was honored with Innovation in Energy Infrastructure, Hunt Energy Network received Grid Innovator, and Monica Pace Messick from Jackson Walker won Energy Finance Leader.
