EPCOT Could Learn from Dollywood's Tasting Passes

The International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT could benefit from adopting a feature that Dollywood has perfected. The Tennessee theme park offers Tasting Passes, which allow guests to enjoy up to five festival food items for a flat fee of $44 per person.

This is in contrast to EPCOT's current method, where visitors typically budget out what they want to eat and purchase separate gift cards or use the Disney festival gift card. While this system can save money, it can also be cumbersome to manage multiple cards throughout the day.

Dollywood's Tasting Passes are available for purchase either before or on the day of the visit, making it a convenient option for guests. Disneyland has a similar offering with their Sip and Savor Passes for the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, which can be redeemed for select food or non-alcoholic beverage items.

With prices varying depending on the festival and location, having Tasting Passes at EPCOT could make festival days easier and potentially cheaper for visitors. The Disney World team may want to take a page out of Dollywood's book and introduce this feature to their festivals.
