EPCOT's Cosmic Rewind Plays Earth, Wind & Fire's Classic Hit for One Day Only

Disney's EPCOT theme park is set to host a one-day soundtrack switch for its Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction on September 21, 2026. For this special day only, the ride will play Earth, Wind & Fire's iconic song 'September' instead of its usual randomized playlist.

The decision to feature 'September' is not random, as the song's opening lyric asks, 'Do you remember the 21st night of September?' Disney has chosen to lean into this connection every year by locking in the track for the full day. Normally, Cosmic Rewind shuffles between six different songs, making it impossible to predict which one will play until the ride starts.

On September 21, however, 'September' will dominate the soundtrack, playing on a loop for every launch throughout the day. This unique experience is part of Disney's ongoing efforts to create memorable experiences for its guests.
