Etihad Cancels Flight to Abu Dhabi Amid Technical Issue

Around 200 passengers were left stranded at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi after Etihad Airways cancelled its flight EY217 to Abu Dhabi on Saturday evening.

The cancellation was due to a technical issue with the Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which had already boarded around 20 passengers before being asked to deboard. The crew initially informed them about the technical problem before the cancellation was confirmed.

The incident caused disruption for passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi, including those who may have had onward connections from the UAE capital.
