EVA Air Eyes Massive Widebody Order for Mid-2030s Deliveries

EVA Air is reportedly considering a new order for up to two dozen widebody aircraft from Airbus and/or Boeing.

The move comes as the airline looks to replace its outgoing Boeing 777-300ER fleet, with deliveries likely not beginning until the mid-2030s.

The last 777-300ERs would exit the fleet with these new widebodies, giving EVA Air flexibility throughout this period.

The proposed order aligns with EVA Air's existing mixed-manufacturer model, which includes aircraft from both American and European companies.
