Ex-IBM Engineer Joins Matheson Lawson as Head of Private Client
Frank McKnight, a former IBM engineer turned lawyer, has joined Matheson Lawson as its new director and head of private client. The Glasgow-based law firm is expanding its services, with McKnight at the helm to spearhead this growth phase.
McKnight's unique background in engineering will bring a fresh perspective to the firm's private client department. He worked for IBM before moving into the energy sector, eventually transitioning to law after completing an accelerated degree program at the University of Strathclyde.
As head of private client, McKnight will focus on developing the firm's services and expanding the team to meet growing demand. Co-founder Maureen Matheson is confident in his abilities, citing his experience and passion for private client work.
