Expedition Everest Single Rider Line Closes Amid Changes to Ride Operations
Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World has made a change to its Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain ride. The single rider line, which allows guests to enter the queue without their party, will no longer be available starting September 21.
The decision comes after a successful test earlier this year showed that the new loading process resulted in lower average wait times. According to Disney, the single rider line was found to no longer provide the experience guests have come to expect from such lines.
However, Disney will continue to offer single rider lines at other attractions, including Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney's Hollywood Studios. The removal of the single rider line at Expedition Everest is part of ongoing efforts to optimize ride capacity and minimize wait times.
