Fence Installation Stalls After Contractors Stop Showing Up
A Prescott Valley woman is left frustrated and concerned for her safety after contractors hired through The Home Depot stopped showing up to finish installing a new fence. Sofya Nektalova paid over $12,000 to replace her existing fence, but the installation was delayed multiple times before it abruptly ceased.
Nektalova said that contractors worked on her fence for two days before disappearing, leaving behind a pile of unfinished materials and a mess in her front yard. She claims that concrete packs spilled open and hardened onto her landscaping, causing further damage to her property.
The Home Depot stated that the installation required city permits, which were subject to review and processing timelines. However, Nektalova expressed frustration with the company's response, saying that she was not informed about these requirements beforehand.
