Ferguson Withdraws from Dunhill Links Championship Due to Neck Injury

Scottish golfer Ewen Ferguson has pulled out of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship due to an injury issue. The 30-year-old, who is currently sitting 42nd in the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai, had been on a strong run of form lately, finishing in the top ten at the Amgen Irish Open and tying for 14th in the FedEx Open de France.

Ferguson's decision to skip the $5 million tournament was made as a precautionary measure after his neck began to flare up over the past few weeks. He has been advised by his physio to take this week off and undergo an MRI scan to ensure everything is okay.

This is not the only withdrawal from the event, with Richie Ramsay also sitting out due to an ongoing nerve issue in his neck.
