Figma Surges 14% as Salesforce Earnings Spark SaaS Rally

Figma's stock price surged 14% to $30.89 on Thursday as investors' sentiment shifted towards the software-as-a-service (SaaS) sector.

The rally came after Salesforce reported record second-quarter net sales of $11.35 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $5.90, beating consensus estimates by 80% while also lifting its full-year outlook.

Figma's own fundamentals reinforced the optimism with a 48% year-over-year increase in revenue to $370.1 million for the second quarter, marking the third consecutive quarter of accelerating top-line growth.

The company's management raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance by $40 million to a range of $1.463 billion to $1.467 billion, citing AI adoption as a key driver.
