Filipino Creators Collective Revolutionizes AI Literacy and Responsible AI Use
The Copilot Creators Collective (CCC) is a community of Filipino creators that has been working together to promote AI literacy and responsible AI use. Founded by Microsoft, the collective aims to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more.
In its first year, the CCC has achieved remarkable results. The group's members have helped broaden AI literacy by making it accessible to different communities, including creators, professionals, educators, and learners. They have done this through various campaigns, learning sessions, and creator-led storytelling.
One notable example is the YSEALI Bootcamp for Digital Creators, where CCC members brought creator-led perspectives to a regional initiative designed to equip young Southeast Asian leaders with digital storytelling and responsible technology skills. The bootcamp gathered 81 attendees from across the region and provided a platform for CCC members to show how Microsoft 365 and Copilot can support productivity, content creation, and responsible experimentation.
The collective's work also shows how AI can support more ambitious ideas behind the scenes. Ceej Tantengco-Malolos, one of the CCC members, used Copilot and a small team to organize an art exhibit for women's sports, creating display mockups, drafting media invitations, and building a promotional plan.
