Fleet Week Kicks Off with Free Concert at Salesforce Park
San Francisco’s Fleet Week kicks off with a free concert at Salesforce Park this Tuesday, October 6. The 1st Marine Division Band Brass Quintet will perform from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm, offering a midday musical treat. Later that evening, the band will also perform in Noe Valley. The concert is free and open to all ages, providing a great way to start the week.
The park will also host food and drink vendors, including Barebottle Brewing and Philz Coffee. Off the Grid Food Trucks will be on-site from 11 am to 2 pm, with options like El Fuego and Senior Sisig available for visitors to enjoy before the concert.
Fleet Week runs from October 4 to October 12, featuring a variety of events including boat tours, air shows, and numerous free concerts throughout the city. The Blue Angels will take center stage with air shows on October 9, 10, and 11, though they can be spotted flying around the city in the days leading up to the official performances. Another highlight is the Parade of Ships, which will sail through the bay and under the Golden Gate Bridge.
