FlexPod Shifts Focus to Validated AI Infrastructure

NetApp and Cisco Systems are repositioning their FlexPod franchise as a validated answer to AI's complexity in enterprise environments.

The converged infrastructure franchise has served over 10,000 customers and generated $21 billion in ecosystem value over 16 years.

Cisco vice president James Cole noted that AI workloads behave differently from traditional applications, drawing on storage, networking, compute, and security simultaneously.

'20 years ago, 10 years ago, you would've been designing your data structures and your applications around the infrastructure. Now we've turned that on its head,' Cole said.
