Florida Jury Deliberates in Microsoft Manager Murder-For-Hire Case
A Florida jury is deliberating in the case of Jared Bridegan, a Microsoft design manager who was shot four years ago. Prosecutors allege that his wealthy ex-wife and her husband were behind the murder-for-hire scheme.
The attack took place on August 12, 2022, after Bridegan got out of his SUV to remove a tire from a road in Jacksonville Beach. The police struggled for months to understand why someone with no apparent enemies would be targeted.
Defense Attorney James Hill has represented the defendant, Mario Fernandez Saldana, who is accused of carrying out the murder on behalf of Bridegan's ex-wife and her husband.
