flydubai Expands Fleet Beyond 100 Aircraft, Upgrades Cabin Experience
flydubai has reached a major milestone in its growth strategy by expanding its fleet beyond 100 aircraft. The airline is taking delivery of 11 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in 2026, including seven Boeing 737-9 MAX and four Boeing 737-8 MAX. This expansion will not only increase the airline's capacity but also provide flexibility to expand its network and add capacity on high-demand routes.
The new aircraft feature a premium product with 16 Business Class seats, compared to 10 on some Boeing 737-8 MAX models. Additionally, the newer generation of aircraft will offer larger overhead bins, increasing cabin baggage capacity and improving the overall passenger experience.
Flydubai's Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, emphasized that growing its fleet beyond 100 aircraft is a significant milestone for the airline, showing how far it has come. The airline remains committed to operating one of the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets in the skies while enhancing its onboard experience.
