flydubai Expands Fleet Beyond 100 Aircraft with New Deliveries
flydubai has reached a milestone in its growth strategy by expanding its fleet beyond 100 aircraft. The airline will take delivery of 11 additional Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, including seven 737-9 MAX and four 737-8 MAX, in 2026.
The new deliveries are part of flydubai's long-term fleet modernization plan to replace older aircraft and increase capacity on high-demand routes. The introduction of newer-generation aircraft will also reinforce the airline's commitment to operating a younger, more fuel-efficient fleet.
flydubai will launch a new cabin retrofit programme in September, which will add lie-flat Business Class seats and larger overhead storage capacity across its Boeing 737 MAX fleet. The programme is part of flydubai's ongoing efforts to enhance the onboard experience for passengers.
