Foldable iPhone's Price Tag Raises Red Flags for Apple Investors
Apple's latest iPhone Duo has generated excitement among investors, but it may not be enough to justify buying into the stock at its current valuation.
The device, which combines a 5.4-inch outer display with a 7.6-inch folding inner screen, is priced at $1,999 and manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor, whose TSM chip powers the iPhone Duo's performance.
While the foldable design could lead to higher average selling prices, it also poses a meaningful demand test due to its steep price tag.
Additionally, Apple's AI rollout, which includes partnerships with Alphabet's Google and OpenAI, may create new revenue opportunities through server-based AI features, but monetization and adoption still need to prove themselves.
