Ford Brings Back Iconic Indy for New Disney Attraction

Harrison Ford is reprising his iconic role as Indiana Jones for an upcoming Disney attraction. The new project, titled Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, will feature a life-sized animatronic Indy.

Ford first played the character in 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark and has since reprised the role in multiple films, including Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The actor also appeared in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008 and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in 2023.

According to a video announcement made by Ford at Disney's D23 convention, he will be serving as the model for the animatronic Indy. The attraction is currently under construction at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom theme park and is expected to open soon.
