Former Dentons Link Legal Partner Launches Independent Law Practice
Kapil Chaudhary and Sushmita Chaudhary have launched Verity Law Chambers, an independent law practice in India. The new chambers will focus on technology, data, AI, privacy, corporate governance, employment and labor law, and commercial litigation.
Verity Law Chambers will be based in New Delhi and Noida, with Kapil Chaudhary and Sushmita Chaudhary serving as co-founders and joint managing partners. Kapil Chaudhary joins the new practice after serving as a partner at Dentons Link Legal for over 26 years.
He has extensive experience in senior in-house roles at major companies, including IBM, Autodesk, Twitter, Flutter International/Junglee Games, and Info Edge (India). Sushmita Chaudhary focuses on employment and labor law and commercial litigation, with a practice that includes compliance under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act.
The chambers will advise clients on AI governance, data privacy and cybersecurity, technology and platform regulation, software licensing, and media, gaming, and entertainment regulation. It will also undertake disputes and international arbitration, corporate governance, board advisory, and fractional General Counsel mandates.
