Former Microsoft Executive Nominated to Elastic Board

Elastic has nominated Julia Liuson, a former Microsoft executive, to its Board of Directors. She will be subject to a shareholder vote at the annual general shareholder meeting in October 2026.

Liuson served as President of Microsoft's Developer Division and led technology and business strategy for Microsoft's developer tools and Azure developer platform.

She spent over three decades at Microsoft, joining in 1992 as a software design engineer and becoming corporate vice president of the Developer Division in 2012 and president in 2021.

Liuson currently serves on the boards of Cadence Design Systems and private company Wanderboat.AI, and is a board observer at Schneider Electric.
