Fragment Design Leads ComplexCon 2026 with Highly Anticipated Collaborations
ComplexCon 2026 is set to feature a standout lineup of collaborations with Fragment Design, the Tokyo-based studio founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Known for its iconic lightning bolt logo and influential collaborations, Fragment Design is taking center stage this year as Fujiwara and his team serve as artistic directors alongside Playboi Carti. The event marks a significant moment for Fujiwara and Fragment, with a series of exclusive drops that are now available on Complex.
Among the most anticipated collaborations is a partnership with Pokémon, blending Fujiwara’s minimalist aesthetic with one of the most recognizable entertainment universes. This pairing highlights Fujiwara’s ability to reimagine familiar characters through a refined design lens. Another notable collaboration is with the Los Angeles Dodgers, celebrating ComplexCon’s 10-year anniversary in Los Angeles by applying Fragment’s design language to the team’s iconic logo.
Disney’s extensive entertainment catalog also receives the Fragment treatment, continuing a legacy of streetwear collaborations that merge iconic characters with Fujiwara’s signature style. Additionally, MEDICOM TOY’s BE@RBRICK, a highly sought-after collectible, gets a new Fragment iteration, further cementing Fujiwara’s longstanding relationship with the figure. Other collaborations include partnerships with Brabus, a German high-performance automotive house, and Ray-Ban, known for its timeless eyewear designs.
WEEKEND SEQUEL, a Tokyo-based streetwear label founded by Yasunari Miyazaki, rounds out the collaborations. Tied closely to Fujiwara’s creative circle, the partnership underscores the deep connections within the streetwear and design communities.
