Freedom Holding Corp. Partners with FIDE for 2026 World Chess Championship
Freedom Holding Corp. has been named General Partner of the Salesforce FIDE World Championship Match 2026, marking its continued support for international chess.
This partnership is a result of several years of cooperation between Freedom and the International Chess Federation (FIDE), with the company previously serving as General Partner of the 2023 World Championship Match in Astana and title sponsor of the 2024 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Championships in New York.
The match, which will take place from November 22 to December 12, 2026, will bring together reigning World Champion Gukesh D of India and challenger Javokhir Sindarov of Uzbekistan in a maximum of 14 classical games.
Freedom Holding Corp. has invested heavily in chess development, supporting international competitions and initiatives focused on expanding access to the game, developing young talent, and strengthening the wider chess ecosystem.
