Frick Drone Program Takes Flight at Sandhills Community College

On September 19th, Sandhills Community College held a demonstration to launch the Frick Drone Innovation Program. This program was made possible through a gift from retired IBM executive Edward R. Frick, who is also a Pinehurst resident.

Frick emphasized the importance of providing people with the necessary skills for life and employment, stating that 'the harder you work, the luckier you get.' He commended the college's leadership and its ability to provide tools for learning.
