The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued over 150 notices to major food brands, including Nestle India, PepsiCo, and Coca-Cola India, for violating labelling regulations and making false claims in their advertisements.

The regulator listed several companies against which enforcement action has been taken, including manufacturers of energy drinks and alcoholic beverages. Products were seized from these companies, and some had their licenses cancelled or suspended.

The FSSAI also issued notices to e-commerce companies Amazon and Flipkart, as well as food service establishments such as KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Costa Coffee. Five of Domino's licences were suspended by the regulator.
