Wappingers Falls Resident Jeanne Doris Marcojohn Passes Away at 92

Wappingers Falls resident Jeanne Doris Marcojohn passed away on August 21, 2026, at Vassar Brother Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. The 92-year-old had been a lab technician specialist at the IBM plant in East Fishkill for many years before her retirement.

Marcojohn was also an accomplished marksman and member of the Dutchess County Pistol Association (DCPA), where she participated in several Empire State Games and won medals for her performance. She enjoyed various hobbies, including cooking, painting, and spending time with her family.

The deceased is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Kassof from Walnut Creek, CA, and Paula Marcojohn Calli from Wappingers Falls, NY, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private interment will take place at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, followed by a memorial service on August 26.
