The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued around 150 notices to major food brands and retail chains for violating regulations. The companies received notices over misleading advertisements, false claims, and non-compliance with labelling rules.

Nestlé India, PepsiCo, and Coca-Cola India are among the companies that have been issued notices by the FSSAI. Additionally, 12 notices were given to e-commerce companies Amazon and Flipkart, while one Amazon warehouse licence has been cancelled.

More than 30 notices have been issued to food service chains such as KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Costa Coffee. Five licences of Domino's have been suspended due to non-compliance with labelling rules.
